Hey there, I’m John Flatt, the video editor for The Eagle's Tale. I play the alto saxophone in the band, I’m an Eagle Scout, and I’m looking forward to spending this year with all my friends here on the newspaper staff.  I hope to entertain and inform you this school year, and I will do my best to get you the information you need and deserve. Here’s to another year.

With an impressive variety of pastries, breakfast sandwiches and other delicious treats, “Got Donuts?” is an instant hit. I ordered one strawberry jelly filled donut and a bear claw and was taken back by the amazing flavor. I must admit it was a bit sweet for my palate. The best part of the meal was the cheese sausage kolache that brought a savory end to the experience. While the establishment is fairly small and can feel cramped, the interior is decorated quite nicely, and I was very impressed with the friendly service and atmosphere of the restaurant.
