Student Council to collect jeans through April 7
One of the top needs of homeless teens is jeans.
Student Council is collecting gently used jeans now through April 7 in room 1208. The jeans will be donated to homeless youth through Faith City Mission in Amarillo.
Last year during the event Student Council collected more than 200 jeans.
“Last year I was the one who got to go to Faith City Mission to deliver the jeans,” said Madison Lafont, student council president. “It was kind of eye opening to realize how much they needed them.”
