Howdy! I’m Blake Loria, and I want to pursue a career in journalism, so I am honored to be serving as editor-in-chief for my third and final year on staff. As a senior, I am quite involved around Canyon High, so when I am not editing or practicing for UIL in the newsroom, I can be found leading Spanish Club as president, Robotics Club as vice president, the National Hispanic Honor Society as treasurer and iConnect as a third-year member. I am also in many service organizations, such as Leo Club and LEAD Council. Likewise, I am in the National Honor Society and Quill and Scroll Honor Society. When I manage to have free time, I enjoy practicing my photography, reading Stephen King novels and listening to true crime and political podcasts. I have a passion for writing and editing, so thank you for reading my work and supporting our newspaper!

One of the first collages Loria crafted while beginning his art journey, titled "Working Machine." A blend of magazine elements, washi tape and stock paper, the collage lay in one of the various journals filled with mixed media art by Loria.
