On Thursday, September 25, 2025, former Canyon High School students Virginia Armstrong and Robert ‘Bob’ Bullock were inducted into the CHS Hall of Fame
“And one thing that they [Hall of Fame inductees] all have in common is something we all share today–their love and devotion to Canyon High,” Principal Jennifer Boren said.
Robert Alan Bullock, known to friends and classmates simply as “Bob,” has lived a life of service, leadership, and unwavering faith, exemplifying the words from our alma mater: “We’ll spend our lives in service, for she has taught us how.” (Courtesy)At Canyon High School, Virginia distinguished herself in both academics and extracurricular activities. She was Valedictorian of the Class of 1962, president of the National Honor Society, editor of the student newspaper, director of the senior play, and an award-winning debater and speaker. She also played basketball, participated in band, and contributed to her church music program as pianist, organist, and choir member. (Courtesy)
Hola, I’m Emma! I’m a junior and this is my second year here on the newspaper staff and my third in the journalism program. This year I have the honor of being the editor-in-chief of the paper and being able to share y’alls stories and accomplishments. Outside of the journalism program, I do Spanish and theatre, and I take kickboxing outside of school. A little bit about me is that I love writing, listening to music (my current favorite artist Laufey), The Legend of Zelda and I’m a huge book lover as well as a frequent iced coffee drinker. If I’m not in the journalism room you’ll probably find me hanging out with my friends, or getting a coffee from Journey Coffee to power me through the day. I’m so happy to be bringing the news to y’all this year and I am so excited to see what this year will bring!
Hey there sunshine. This is Danielle Frausto, I’m the co-editor of the yearbook and a staff reporter for the Eagle’s Tale. I’m a junior and this is my third year in journalism. If you see me out in the wild I will probably have a camera. Other than journalism I am involved in musical crew, Key Club, Leo Club, ASL Honors Society, Student Council, and Drama Club. If I’m not at a school event I will probably be baking, reading, hanging out with my family and always listening to music. I am also involved in various volunteer programs. If you’re ever looking for me I’m most likely with Lexi Cox (aka my partner in crime) or in Mrs. Frausto room. I can’t wait to see what this year holds and I am beyond excited to capture it. See you later alligator!<3 :)
