A real estate class is now available and will be taught by Stephen Thrasher in the 1300 hall.
“Last spring we had an opportunity [to add] a few new classes, so I suggested Fundamentals of Real Estate as one of the potential options.” Thrasher said.
Thrasher has 22 years of experience in real estate so he can teach the class.
“I started my real estate journey for a prominent Real Estate Brokerage in Amarillo and began purchasing investment properties for myself as well as wholesaling and flipping houses.” Thrasher said, “I earned my real estate license in 2015 and have been an active Realtor since.”
The class is small but will give students a good opportunity to pursue a career in real estate.
“As of today, we have 11 students taking the class.” Thrasher said, “By the end of the school year each student will have completed all 6 real estate courses required to earn a license (180 class hours) and take then state and national exam to become active Realtors.”
Schedule changes are due Friday to the counselors so if you are interested make sure to pick up a purple save form and submit it to your counselor.
