#DineToDonate to benefit Education Foundation Jan. 27

The community can support the Education Foundation of Canyon ISD at the Chicken Express in Canyon for #DineToDonate all day Monday, Jan. 27.
To help support #FundingExcellenceInEducation, customers can give a portion of the profit from their order by saying they want to support the foundation. UIL Coordinator Ellen Ward said students benefit from the foundation, whether directly or indirectly.
“Students should care because every Education Foundation grant has the potential to help the school,” Ward said. “For example, we just had a UIL trip a week ago. We had about 30 kids who got to go on the trip and have that experience because the Education Foundation was willing to give us that money. It’s really great they give us these opportunities.”
