High Plains Public Radio to host podcast competition
Students who want to participate in a podcast event with High Plains Public Radio must register with the Canyon Public Library by Sept. 26.
Students must sign up by today, Sept. 26, in order to participate in a teen podcast event hosted by the Canyon Area Library and High Plains Public Radio Sept. 29.
The program will run from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at High Plains Public Radio. Teens will write their own podcasts with the opportunity for them to be aired on the radio.
The program is limited to 25 participants. Students can sign up through Sept. 26 at the Canyon Area Library, call Brooke Mjolsness at 806-655-5015 or send the library a message on Facebook or Twitter.
Additionally, students will need to make travel arrangements to High Plains Public Radio and snacks will be provided.
