Seniors Danielle Burns, Kelsey Braudt, Kathryn Culbert, Hannah Hamil, Mallory Wright and Aubrey Thomas show off handmade Valentine's cards created by Wright. She sells cards through her business, The Wright Words Card Company. With premade cards available for purchase, Wright also offers custom cards. "The biggest connection is through custom cards," Wright said. "It's fun to get to learn little pieces of many different people's lives. People send me ideas of what they are wanting, and then I do my bet to create what they are imagining. I like to keep the customers involved throughout the process so they get exactly what they were wanting."

Assistant principals Blake Hurst and Eric Gomez storm out of the Eagle’s Tunnel while members of the Soaring Pride Band Drumline perform a cadence. The duo have worked together at Canyon High for the last two years, earning themselves the title of 'The Boys.’ As Hurst moves to lead Sundown Lane Elementary as principal next year, The Boys reflect on their time together. “When I think back in the day of principals, I think of getting sent to the office and getting in trouble,” Hurst said. “We wanted to change the perspective of discipline. We deal with the positive. We make positive phone calls, and we want to be approachable. We care about kids, whether they’re in trouble or not.”
