Hey y’all! My name is Allison, and I’m the Co-Editor-In-Chief of the Eagle’s Tale. This is my final year on staff, as I am a senior. Along with the wonderful world of journalism, I am involved in all things theater. From musical to One-Act, I spend most of my time in the theater with my incredible theater family. In the spring, I compete in UIL journalism. In my very limited free time, I’m with my friends, napping, watching musicals or in a coffee shop doing homework. Although I lack the talent, I will most likely sing at any time and anywhere. Next fall, I plan to attend the University of Texas in Austin and majoring in public relations. I’m looking forward to a fantastic senior year and an even better year for the newspaper!

The Republican was a spicy grilled jalapeño sausage covered in shredded cheese and a layer of pico de gallo in a flour tortilla. Although I was unsure how sausage would taste in a taco, I was quite surprised by the flavor combination. I enjoyed that the sausage was not overwhelmingly spicy and had a strong flavor.
