Kiss and tell a senior goodbye
Key Club will be selling “Kiss a Senior Goodbye” notes for 25 cents in the commons during activity period, both lunches and in room 1306 during the day until Thursday, May 21.
Students and teachers who buy “Kiss a Senior Goodbye” notes can write seniors a message then return the card to Key Club sponsor Lance Culbert. The letters will be given to the seniors at graduation practice May 29.
“We have been doing it for six or seven years now,” Culbert said. “I have a student from several years ago that I’m friends with on Facebook who found those and she posted it on Facebook. And she said ‘they really mean a lot to me. I didn’t know how much at the time, but they mean a lot to me now.’ It’s just a cool way for people to say goodbye.”
