Senior Cade Olson jumps to catch a pass against a Hereford defender Nov. 2.

The football team will play Friday, Nov. 30 at Dick Bivins Stadium in Amarillo at 7 p.m. against the Hereford Whitefaces in their third round of playoffs.

Fans can attend a “purple out” Eagle Alley pre-game at 5:15 at the north end of the stadium. The outcome of this game will determine 4A Division 1 Regional Championship as well as qualification for the state quarterfinal game. The Eagles beat the Whitefaces in regular season district play 27-17. The Eagles are the area champions after defeating Gainesville High School and are now 11-1.

“Hereford will be very energetic this time,” senior Tanner Wilson said. “They lost to us last time, but they thought it was because their best running back was hurt. We are working on stopping the run for this game since their running back is back now. The match up for Seminole’s run offense was good for our defense because that is exactly what Hereford is going to do.”
