The Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots will play Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco for Super Bowl LX. This year’s season, the Patriots and Seahawks meet with the same record, 14-3.
The biggest game of the year is a rematch of the 2015 Super Bowl where the Seahawks had an early lead before Tom Brady came back in typical fashion with two late touchdowns to take the lead. With less than 30 seconds on the clock and on the 1-yard line an interception thrown by the Seahawks’ Russell Wilson into the endzone and caught by the Patriots’ Malcolm Butler sealed the win.
The Seahawks are 14-3, and have an excellent cornerback and wide receiver duo with Devon Witherspoon and Jaxson Smith-Njigba. The team hasn’t failed yet with this duo, so they should be able to take down the Patriots in a hard-fought battle.
The Patriots are a good competitor, only losing 3 games the entire regular season. If they can cover the run and passing game, then they should be able to secure the win. It is not going to be easy, but they have what it takes to win.
According to NFL.com, Sam Darnold and the Seahawks are favored to win the game by 6 with 25 points. The Patriots have a lower chance of winning but are predicted to score 19 points. Even though the Patriots have a lower chance of winning, I think they are still going to fight till the very end.
All NFL.com commentators were all on the same page, favoring the Seahawks to win. The Seahawks have a very explosive offense, and their defense is able to make the stops that count.
The attendance of the game is projected to be around 90,000 people, not forgetting to include the hundreds of millions watching around the world.
According to NBC.com, Charlie Puth will perform the national anthem at Super Bowl LX. Music artist, Bad Bunny, will be performing at the halftime show this year, winning 3 Grammys earlier this year. The pre-game show will be hosted by none other than the famous band Green Day. “America the Beautiful” will be sung by Brandi Carlisle, and “Lift Every Voice and Sing” will be sung by Coco Jones.
The game will air on NBC and stream live on Peacock, NFL+, Hulu, and YouTube TV.
My prediction is that the Seahawks will be leading into halftime 21-14, then the Patriots will tie the game 24-24. The game will go into the 4th quarter, where the Seahawks score to win the game 31-24.
