Friday night’s win against Pampa made the Eagles (3-1) District 3-4A co-champions.

Canyon was down 12-0 against the Harvesters at halftime but came back to win 24-12 with touchdown runs by Christopher Labue and Samuel Johnson.

The Eagles will face the Burkburnett Bulldogs from District 4 for the Bi-District game at Fair Park Stadium in Childress this Friday night. The Eagles will be the home team.

Canyon is 9-1, even after losing the starting quarterback Derrek Clements in game five against Greenwood.

The Eagles have scored 310 points this season and have allowed 179 points. The Eagles only loss was against District Co-champion and district rival, Randall High, during this year’s GOAT game.

The Bulldogs enter the game with a 7-3 overall record and 2-2 in District.

UIL released the playoff brackets but the Dave Campbell’s version is more printer friendly.
