Reese Wilson, News Photographer
Hi, I’m Reese Wilson! I am a sophomore and this will be my second year in the journalism program. I run cross country, track, and play basketball. I am also involved in ASL Honor Society, Student Council, and my class treasurer. I love taking photos, especially if I can go somewhere cool (climbing a tree for example) while doing it, and I have always enjoyed writing. In my free time I like sleeping, eating, playing with my dog, and making crumble reviews on tiktok with my sister (we’re basically famous). I’m not really sure what I’ll be doing this year, but whatever it is, I can’t wait to do it!
Berkli Robinson, News Photographer
Aloha amigos! I’m Berkli Robinson! I am a sophomore, and this is my second year in the journalism program. I am involved in Student Council, ASL Honors Society, musical crew, powerlifting, and secretary of my class. I have a new obsession about every 2 weeks. I identify as a Hufflepuff, in Cabin 14, and team cap. I absolutely love taking photos in any form and fashion, so you will mainly see me taking pics! I’m a part of the newspaper staff, which means I will possibly be writing a bit, I don’t know I’m just here. “To infinity and beyond!” -Toy Story! Danielle Frausto, Yearbook, Co-Editor
Hey there sunshine. This is Danielle Frausto, I’m the co-editor of the yearbook and a staff reporter for the Eagle’s Tale. I’m a junior and this is my third year in journalism. If you see me out in the wild I will probably have a camera. Other than journalism I am involved in musical crew, Key Club, Leo Club, ASL Honors Society, Student Council, and Drama Club. If I’m not at a school event I will probably be baking, reading, hanging out with my family and always listening to music. I am also involved in various volunteer programs. If you’re ever looking for me I’m most likely with Lexi Cox (aka my partner in crime) or in Mrs. Frausto room. I can’t wait to see what this year holds and I am beyond excited to capture it. See you later alligator!<3 :)
Jasinia Frausto, Adviser
Hello. I am Mrs. Frausto. This is my 6th year at Canyon High advising the journalism publications. Art, photography and writing have always fueled my happiness and I learned early on that through journalism I can practice all three. My journalism career started as a sophomore at Canyon High, pushed me through college and the non-profit sector early into my adulthood before gracefully bringing me back home to Canyon High. I believe photographs are worth a thousand words, words are worth a pot of gold and there is always a story waiting to be told. I spend my time away from school with Coach Frausto and our awesome kids playing golf and making memories.
Gracyn Gonzales, Yearbook Staff
Heyyyy guysss!!! My name is Gracyn Gonzales, I am a junior this year and this will be my second year on the photography team. I love taking pictures and hanging out with friends. Outside of school, I’m a dancer at Lone Star Ballet and I also work there as a teacher for five to six-year-olds tap, jazz, and ballet. You can always catch me talking about my favorite shows or movies like LA LA LAND!!! I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for everyone and try to capture every moment! But don’t forget “A bit of madness is key to give us new colors to see. Who knows where it will lead us?” – la la land.
