Dipping into the holidays
Editor-In-Chief offers easy Christmas recipe
While I am not much of a baker, the holidays have always brought out the chef in me, especially when the recipe is easy and delicious. This year, I’ve found I cannot stop eating Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip, which my mom has had to make several times this month already to curb my appetite. We found this amazing recipe on Taste of Home, and I hope everyone enjoys this as much as I do.
Ingredients
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Graham cracker sticks (or any other choice of snacks, such as cookie wafers or pretzels)
Directions
In a bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy. Add confectioners’ sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract, and beat until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips (or, a variety of flavored chips like peanut butter or caramel). Serve with snacks and enjoy!
