Hi! I’m Jayla, and I’ll be a junior this year. This will be my second year in journalism, and first year on the Eagles Tale Staff. I’m involved in FFA, too many clubs, and love to show rabbits. When I’m not doing any of those things or flooded with homework, you’ll find me with my nose in a book, watching movies, or building some Legos. If you get me started on music I’ll talk your ear off about The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, Lizzy McAlpine, or Taylor Swift (sorry in advance). I’m always up to chat about some Jesus! Can’t wait for this crazy year ahead of us :)

Hola, I’m Emma! I’m a junior and this is my second year here on the newspaper staff and my third in the journalism program. This year I have the honor of being the editor-in-chief of the paper and being able to share y’alls stories and accomplishments. Outside of the journalism program, I do Spanish and theatre, and I take kickboxing outside of school. A little bit about me is that I love writing, listening to music (my current favorite artist Laufey), The Legend of Zelda and I’m a huge book lover as well as a frequent iced coffee drinker. If I’m not in the journalism room you’ll probably find me hanging out with my friends, or getting a coffee from Journey Coffee to power me through the day. I’m so happy to be bringing the news to y’all this year and I am so excited to see what this year will bring!
