The school will host a senior parent meeting Monday, Sept. 10 at 6:00 pm. The Back to School Night open house will begin at 6:30 pm after the meeting and conclude at 8:00 pm.
Counselor Robin Terry said the meeting will inform parents about the college admissions process and what to expect throughout this year for their senior students.
“The meeting will cover the admissions process, an overview of senior year, when scholarships will be available, how to send a transcript,” Terry said.
Another important point, she said, is for students to visit the colleges of their choice.
“Probably the most important thing is to visit colleges,” Terry said. “Get on a campus, whether it’s AC, WT, Texas Tech, wherever. Students get two free college days a year, so they should take them and go visit schools.”
