Prom tickets are on sale daily in the commons during activity period for $35 each until Friday, April 17.

Prom will be at the WT Legacy Ballroom 8-12 p.m. April 18. This year’s theme is “Hollywood Nights.” Following the theme, the dance will have a popcorn bar, photo booth and selfie hall where students can take pictures with different movie backgrounds. Students who want bring a date who does not attend Canyon High must register in the counseling center by this Friday, April 10. When buying tickets, students will be given the opportunity to sign a Prom Promise pledge to stay away from drugs and alcohol before, during and after prom. Those who sign the pledge will be entered into a drawing for free prom tickets.

“Come and have a great time,” junior class sponsor Robin Terry said. “Get dressed up and have fun with your classmates. We don’t have many social events and this is the dance of the year.”
