Band members to perform in jazz concert Saturday

Five students will perform in the all-region jazz concert at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7 at Amarillo High School. The concert is open to the public.
Freshman Justin Mahan, juniors Ryan Sheffield and Trey Harris, and seniors Jonathan Romero and Kayjay Jones each earned a spot in one of two jazz bands, with Sheffield and Harris earning the top spot in their sections.
“I’m really excited to play in the concert,” Harris said. “It’s my first time to ever make the band, so I’m really looking forward to it.”
