Picture day will take place Wednesday, Sept. 29 for freshmen, sophomores and juniors during their English classes. “You don’t have to dress up if you don’t want to,” yearbook editor Ashlyn Harvell said. “Just wear what you’re confident in and know that it’s going to be in the yearbook for a long time.”

School portrait day is Wednesday, Sept. 29 in upstairs commons for freshmen, sophomores and juniors during their English class period. Students should wear whatever is comfortable for them but avoid green, as pictures will be taken in front of a green screen.

“You don’t have to dress up if you don’t want to,” yearbook editor Ashlyn Harvell said. “From my perspective, if you wear around the same thing every day, why wouldn’t you just wear that? It’s how people are going to remember you. Just wear what you’re confident in and know that it’s going to be in the yearbook for a long time.”

Harvell said that picture day is really important for students to participate in.

“When you open a yearbook and you’re looking back 20 years later, you want to remember people and yourself,” Harvell said. “If you don’t have your picture in there, you don’t get to see yourself in high school and see all of your friends. I think it’s really important to look back and see your picture in the yearbook.”
