The homecoming queen will be crowned at 6:30 p.m. prior to the homecoming football game Friday, Oct. 18. The homecoming king will be named at 7:30 p.m. between games at the powder puff football game, Thursday, Oct. 17 at the new Eagle field.

The queen nominees include Lorin Barnes, Rebekah Crump, Annalisa Delao and Morgan Finke. King candidates are Brice Boren, Ryan France, Ryan Land and Montanna Nease. (Voting instructions and link are below story.)

A parade beginning at 5:30 p.m. Thursday will follow a new route to comply with TXDOT regulations and allow students to end the parade at the high school. Powder puff games follow with the preliminary games at 7 and the championship game at 7:45 Thursday night.

The Hall of Fame ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday will feature the induction of girls basketball coach Joe Lombard and Spanish teacher Sheila Evans into the Canyon High School Hall of Fame. Following the ceremony, the pep rally will be begin at 10:30.

After the homecoming football game, a dance  in the CHS parking lot will end festivities Friday night.
