Varisty boys soccer defeats Raiders
The boys soccer team won the game against Randall, 3-0, Wednesday, Feb. 25, bringing their overall record to 3-5-1. The team plays Dumas at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27 at home.
Junior Tanner Macklin plays varsity midfielder.
“We’ve been doing well despite our circumstances,” Macklin said. “I feel pretty good about last night’s win since it almost guarantees a playoff berth.”
Junior Matt Teweleit said the Randall game went well.
“We got an early lead which helped us get some momentum which lead to the second goal,” Teweleit said. “Our goalie, Alex Morales, played a really solid game and stopped lots of shots.”
