Newspaper hosts NCAA bracket contest

CBS aired the NCAA Tournament Selection Show Sunday and revealed the 68 teams to compete for the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball championship. The tournament begins with the First Four games Tuesday and Wednesday with eight teams playing for four seeds in their region. The show unveiled the four No. 1 seeds for the tournament; Louisville, the top seed overall, Kansas, Indiana and Gonzaga.

The Eagle’s Tale will host a tournament contest for all CHS students and teachers. Students and teachers can come by room 1305 or the library and pick up a bracket. Complete the bracket and return it to either room. Incomplete entries will not count. The winner will be announced April 9 and receive a sports-themed snack pack.

I am Trevor Ferril, senior and associate editor for this year’s Eagle’s Tale staff. This will be my third and final year on staff and my second as an editor. Right now, my interests include most of my classes, mafia (the game), videogames, music, UIL academics, Science Bowl, the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers. I don’t like any other NFC East team, the Angels, the Yankees, death metal, most rap, most FPS games and some of the things I read in English class ("Tale of Two Cities" I’m looking at you) I’m also involved in the school’s varsity choir, Leo Club and will be the senior class treasurer. If you need me, I’ll be around. And don’t worry too much about tomorrow because today has its own worries.
