Lady Eagles defeat Tigers for bi-district championship

The Lady Eagles claimed the bi-district championship last night with a 41-24 win over Frenship.

Canyon started strong and finished the first half 34-6, and held the lead to win the championship.

“We played well, and everyone played to win,” junior Madison Parker said. “We moved the ball really well.”

The Lady Eagles will face El Paso Chapin Friday at 6 p.m. at Roswell High School.
