Each team scored one touchdown during the fourth quarter, for a final score at 42-14. Puga said the crowd at the game helped fuel team success.
“The crowd brings so much energy to the game and how we play,” Puga said. “They keep the game interesting.”
Puga said he thinks they will play especially well in the homecoming game.
“Every week the coaches prepare us very well, and homecoming brings a huge crowd,” Puga said. “Hopefully we can put on a great show for them.”
Palacios said having many people support the team makes the team want to perform better and come out with a big win in the homecoming game.
“We haven’t really put together a full game offensively or defensively yet, and I think this week is the time to do so,” Palacios said. “I think this year we have a very special team that is different from any other team I have been on. Not only do we have a lot of talent but we have a lot of heart, and that will take us a long way.”
