Halloween Happening to welcome community Oct. 28
Families can enjoy games, a virtual reality booth and a haunted house during the annual Halloween Happening Oct. 28 from 4-6 p.m. in the high school commons.
While the event is free, Student Council will accept canned goods or monetary contributions to the High Plains Food Bank.
“This is a way we can give back to the community,” junior and STUCO representative Deanne Rice said. “It’s a safe place for the kids to come get candy and stay warm.”
The event, supported by organizations including Chrome Squad, Drama Club, the cheerleaders, Leo Club and others was set for Oct. 28 to avoid conflict with Wednesday night church services and other community celebrations.
