Four-day weekend set for Feb. 16-19
Students will leave school Thursday at regular time and return Tuesday on collaboration schedule.
Students will observe a four-day weekend Feb 16-19. The weekend is the combination of the Presidents Day weekend and a teacher workday Feb 16. Students said they have plans to take advantage of the weekend.
“I’m going to my dad’s and hopefully helping him out, fixing up his old house,” senior Avery Merrill said. “We’re trying to get it sold, so we’re just fixing it up and making it look nice.”
Other students plan to go to events in town during the weekend.
“On Saturday I’m going to be going to a Gabriel Iglesias showing in Amarillo,” senior Hailey Arreola said.
Student will report back to school on collaboration schedule Tuesday, Feb. 20.
