Canyon High School’s new scoreboard Twitter page allows students to be updated on scores, wins, and teams competing.

The Canyon High School Scoreboard isn’t limited to just sports. It includes results from band, choir, FFA, HOSA and other activities.

“The purpose is to promote extra-curricular activities,” Principal Tim Gilliland said. “It’s a way for students to be informed on events.”

Hey y’all! My name is Allison, and I’m the Co-Editor-In-Chief of the Eagle’s Tale. This is my final year on staff, as I am a senior. Along with the wonderful world of journalism, I am involved in all things theater. From musical to One-Act, I spend most of my time in the theater with my incredible theater family. In the spring, I compete in UIL journalism. In my very limited free time, I’m with my friends, napping, watching musicals or in a coffee shop doing homework. Although I lack the talent, I will most likely sing at any time and anywhere. Next fall, I plan to attend the University of Texas in Austin and majoring in public relations. I’m looking forward to a fantastic senior year and an even better year for the newspaper!
