I remember it perfectly, like it was yesterday! Can’t believe it was ten years ago!
I was a freshman here at CHS (old HS). The first period math class with Mrs. Borden, no longer teaches here. Our teacher was pulled into the hall, and when she came back she was crying; she immediately turned on our TV and explained what happened. We watched it over and over … that day at school many kids went home. Those of us who stayed watched the news in every class all day. Very sad.
