I was teaching in Sugarland, Texas and remember watching on television the second plane hit and thinking about all the lives that were lost and how things were going to change. I also remember the feeling of wanting to make sure my  family was safe.

Canyon High School’s show, Anatomy of Grey by Jim Leonard placed third against seven other schools. Several students received individual awards that recognized their hard work; senior Alijana Stewart received Best Stage Manager award in the Technical Awards division, junior Aubrey Webb received an All-Star Cast award, juniors Reece Meyer and Trace Thomas received the Honorable Mention All-Star Cast awards.
