The community is invited to join the band and choir in celebrating the Christmas season with the traditional Christmas concerts Dec. 16 and 17 in the high school auditorium. The band concert will begin with the sixth grade band at 6 p.m. followed by the junior high bands at 7 p.m. The high school bands will conclude the evening at 8 p.m. Canyon High’s four choirs will bring a joyful end to the semester Dec. 17 at 7 p.m.

“It would be a great time to see our beginners all the way through our high school honor band,” Assistant band director Luis Hernandez said. “The band boosters are doing a Mexican pile-on dinner. It’s $5 per plate, so if anyone does want to cook that evening and wants to hear good music, come on over.”
