Hello loves! My name is Brylee Edwards, I am a Co-Editor in Chief of the Soaring Wings Yearbook and I’m so excited to work with all of my sweet staff members this year. I am a senior and throughout my years here, I have been involved in Golf, FFA, STUCO, FCA and Key Club. In my free time, which is rare, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, painting, binge-watching movies and tv shows, and sleeping.

Seniors Aubrey Lenerose and Brylee Edwards wear PJ's for the #WokeUpLikeThis dress up day. Edwards said she participated to have an excuse to wear PJ pants in public. "The inspiration for my outfit was really just the fact that I absolutely love those PJ pants," Edwards said. "They are my favorite to lounge in."

Canon Rosser (12) and Jacob Quiroz (11) participated in the first Canyon High School hosted barbecue cookoff on Saturday Oct. 22. Canyon High has three barbecue teams, Canyon Smoke Show black, Canyon Smoke Show purple and Bull Rush. "Five students came to me last year wanting to start a team,” barbecue coach Steven Thrasher siad. “They competed in their very first contest as a team last year, then they qualified for the state championship. Once other students saw the success more students wanted to join. This year, we had a meeting and 18 students showed interest in joining. So now we have three teams that are competing for Canyon High."
