The Canyon Cross Country Club will host its third annual scholarship run Saturday, Aug. 3. The run features three races: a 5K, a one mile run/walk and a Kiddy K.
Registration is still available on race day from 7 to 7:45 a.m. On-site registration is $25 with the Kiddy K fee set at $12. Those placing in overall will receive gift certificates while those placing in the top three in age categories will receive medals. All Kiddie K participants will receive ribbons.
The race will be located near Canyon High School on 17th and Ponderosa Streets.
“It’s a runner friendly course, starting at the high school and going through Southeast Park and back,” said Wes Kirton, Canyon High cross country coach and run organizer.
