Who’s your hear me out celebrity crush?
I don’t have a celebrity hear me out, when I was little though, I would have said Harry Styles.
What’s your favorite book or movie? Why does it resonate with you?
My favorite book is The Notebook. It’s a lot better than the movie, and it’s a good comfort book.
What do you like most about school?
I like spending time with my friends and two younger siblings who are in high school with me.
What do you like least about school?
I dislike the fact that everything feels rushed. We get rushed to make decisions, so you never really get to enjoy where you are now.
What is your favorite high school tradition?
My favorite tradition is senior prank week. Every class always does something very memorable.
What is your favorite pep rally theme?
My favorite pep rally theme is the purple out before homecoming.
What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen at CHS?
The wildest thing I’ve seen at CHS was probably the class of 2022’s slip-and-slide on the field before school.
What is your favorite childhood tradition?
Every Christmas morning my family drives to my grandparent’s house, and we eat eggs benedict, then open all of our gifts.
What’s your favorite class you’ve taken? How did it impact you?
My favorite class I’ve taken is ASL. Ms. Prather and Mrs. Martindale do a really good job of teaching ASL and being good listeners.
What has been your favorite high school organization to be a part of? And why?
My favorite organization to be a part of was PRO. It gave me the opportunity to see if what I want to do in the future is a good fit for me.

My favorite school was elementary school.
What year of high school was your favorite?
My favorite year of high school was senior year.
Which teacher will you miss the most throughout all of school?
I’m going to miss Ms. Prather the most. She always listened to me and gave me good advice, and I can always lean on and trust her.
Can you describe a time when you felt particularly proud of an achievement?
Junior year of high school, I performed an ASL joke. I don’t like being on stage or being the center of attention, so getting up there and performing the joke in front of three different schools was nerve-wracking. After I finished the joke, everyone was laughing, and I was super proud of doing it.
Can you recall when you stepped out of your comfort zone and experienced personal growth?
Last year I interviewed to get an internship with PRO. That was the first interview I had ever done, and when I went in and did it I felt super accomplished to have even interviewed. Because of that, I have learned how to have better conversations with strangers.
How do you balance academic demands, extracurricular activities, and personal responsibilities during high school?
I balance them as best as possible, I try to stay ahead of my projects.
How have your friendships evolved or changed throughout high school?
When I came into high school I had a bunch of friends, leaving high school, I have a few. I learned quality over quantity. I wouldn’t trade my best friend for anything.
Are you scared of what’s to come after you graduate? Why or why not?
I’m not scared of what’s going to come after graduation. I know God has a plan for me, and where He sends me, I will go.
What’s inspiring you in life, and how?
My mom is inspiring me daily. She recently took a new position with her job, after doing the same job for 18 years. Even with all of the change and challenges she handles everything with grace and class. She is always inspiring me to be better and do better.
What do you plan on doing after graduation?
After graduation, I plan to spend the summer here, hanging out with my best friend, my boyfriend, and my family. Then I will attend Oklahoma State University and major in Kinesiology or Sports Medicine.
What are your aspirations and goals, both personally and professionally?
My professional goals are to become a physical therapist, and eventually one day own a clinic. For my personal goals, I want to show God through me with everything I do.
How will you achieve your long-term goals and aspirations?
I’m going to obtain my long-term goals by starting small and trusting God’s plan for my life, everything else will work out from there.
What was the most surprising thing you learned about yourself during your time in high school?
The most surprising thing I have learned about myself is that I am good at standing up for myself and what I believe in.
What’s the one piece of life advice you wish someone had given you sooner?
I wish someone would’ve told me sooner that I don’t have to spread myself thin for people who wouldn’t do the same. You don’t have to feel guilty for doing what’s best for you.
What is your advice for underclassmen?
My advice for underclassmen is to prioritize yourself and enjoy everything. Life goes by so fast that you have to just prioritize your needs, and enjoy the little things.
