All lost and found items will be donated this Friday after school. If you have lost anything this school year, go see if it has been placed on the table outside of the front office near the vending machines.

“I find stuff just about every other day,” janitor Martha Varela said. “Especially when I am sweeping or on game days. The most common item I find is lunch boxes.” 

Valuable items like air pods, phones, and keys will be left in the office, but items such as lunch boxes, pencil bags, and clothes can be found on the table.

“We turn anything important into the office, and that drawer has quite a bit in it,” Varela said. “Students have not claimed them. I do not know what to do with them because those items are expensive.”

Items that mean nothing to someone will be donated and become a blessing for someone else this holiday season.

“People get in touch with counselors and come to pick up the items,” Valera said. “Then they take it to Goodwill or somewhere else in Amarillo.” 

Look for missing items on the table outside the front office before Friday, Nov. 21.
