Students have until Friday to design a submission for the Google doodle contest.

Doodle for Google has invited all students from K-12 to create a doodle representing the Google logo for a contest with a $30,000 scholarship prize. The contest has been ongoing for eight weeks, with a deadline of Friday, March 2. The national contest’s purpose is to inspire students around the country to create an uplifting doodle.

Google Doodles must incorporate the letters G-o-o-g-l-e in a creative way.  The winner will receive the scholarship, a $50,000 reward to their school, a trip to California and new Google technology.

“Students can use anything from crayons to clay, graphic design or even food, young artists can utilize any materials to bring their creation to life,” according to the Doodle 4 Google website, where students can submit entries.
