Choir students will host the annual Desserts on Broadway show Saturday night, Jan. 20 at 7 p.m. in the Canyon High commons.

The free concert experience features live musical acts from members of the choir every few minutes and a variety of desserts provided by the choir members and their families. In addition to Broadway themed performances from various soloists and ensembles, the four choirs will also perform their own selections. Choir students will also serve as the wait staff for the audience.

“Desserts on Broadway is a fun chance for the kids to put on their own show,” choir director Brandon Farren said. “It’s designed to be a fun performance before we really dig into our contest music. It’s one last lighthearted performance before the real work begins.”
