Senior dinner dance set for Jan. 28
The senior parents will host the annual Senior Dinner Dance at the West Texas A&M University Alumni Banquet Hall Jan. 28 at 7 p.m.
The dinner dance is for seniors only, and all attending must sign up for free tickets in the CHS library. The theme is black tie, but students are not required to dress in formal attire. A baby, kindergarten, pre-teen and current photo must be emailed to [email protected] or dropped off at the CHS library by Jan. 11, or the senior’s slide in the slideshow will be blank.
“It is going to be a nice dinner, so wear Sunday best,” adviser of the senior class council and CHS librarian Cenee Precure said. “If jeans work for Sunday best, then that is fine. Students may bring comfortable clothes to change into to get serious about winning games.”
Seniors and parents can park between the Alumni Banquet Hall and the Activity Center.
“The senior dinner dance is a way for the parents to put on an event to honor the seniors,” Precure said. “It will be a fun night of games with a nice dinner and dance to make the seniors feel really special.”
‘Senior Mosts’ will be announced on the night, prizes will be given out, and games will be set up for students to participate in.
“Have fun with your classmates one last time, and you don’t necessarily have to bring a date,” Precure said. “Students are encouraged to be themselves and have fun.”
