Senior Kate Shepherd was recognized as a Commended National Merit Scholar by Principal Jennifer Boren on October 9. “It's an honor, and it's kind of exciting because it'll help a lot with college scholarships, and it's just a good thing to have on your application,” Shepherd said.

Junior, Deegan Scarborough, marches with the band at the homecoming parade. “It was a really long parade, it was really hot, but I had a lot of fun playing with the band and marching and supporting the school,” Scarborough said. “My homecoming was pretty fun. I brought my first date to the homecoming game and it was really fun.”
