CHS to host Rachel’s Challenge Wednesday
Cody Hodges will present the Rachel’s Challenge program tomorrow in the Canyon High school auditorium.
The juniors and seniors will attend the first session from 8:50 to 10:00 a.m. The freshmen and sophomore session will follow from 10:10 to 11:20 a.m. After lunch, students selected by teachers will train for the club, Friends of Rachel (FOR), from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Canyon High School will be on regular bell schedule, but the bells will not ring during the morning sessions. The community is invited to a rally from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m in the CHS gymnasium.
“This is the third time to bring Rachel’s Challenge to the school,” Principal Tim Gilliland said. “We want to promote a culture of kindness among the students and teachers of CHS. We are all so busy. It’s easy to forget we need to take care of each other.”
