All juniors and seniors are invited to the ACT boot camp presented by Test Prep Seminars in the auditorium Tuesday, Oct. 16. It will start at 8 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m. The timing provides practice for the PSAT/NMSQT for juniors, which is the following day.
To be registered for the class, a student must submit payment of $45 must be made by Oct. 15. The next available date for the ACT is Oct. 27. This date will only be available through a late registration fee. Registration ends Oct. 5.
“This class will improve test taking skills,” counselor Robin Terry said. “It will also help them work on their test preparation strategies.”
The normal cost of this boot camp would be $250 a student, but Canyon High will be paying for a large portion, dropping the price to $45 per student. This price includes two books, 27 practice tests and the six-hour class.
