The choir program will perform “Desserts on Broadway” tomorrow, Jan. 23. in the commons. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m. and performances will begin at 7 p.m.

The show includes 14 solo and ensemble acts as well as several songs performed by the choirs. Songs featured come from musicals including “Guys and Dolls,” “Wicked,” “Les Miserables,” “White Christmas,” “Grease” and others. While some students perform on stage, other students will wait tables to serve complimentary desserts and drinks to the audience.

“’Desserts on Broadway’ is very different than a choir concert,” choir director Brandon Farren said. “It is much more kin to a dinner theater than it is to a choir concert. It is fun to go to a concert where you know most of the tunes and can almost sing along.”
