“For graduation I’ll be at the school around 10:30, walk in and return my school supplies, receive cords and awards, give a quick speech into a camera thanking my family and teachers and then walk across the stage,” senior Erin Bell said. “I plan on attending the ceremony on May 22 by watching it with my family. I’ll probably be in pj’s. The biggest plans I had that have been affected were mostly school-related. I’m disappointed I’m not going to participate in spring UIL events. I realize this is not an ideal situation for graduation, but I appreciate the work and effort put in by the administration. It’s difficult to balance pleasing tradition and keeping the community healthy, and I think they’re doing a wonderful job.”
