Eleven Patterson

“I like dancing,” junior Eleven Patterson said. “I like all kinds. Hip-hop mainly, though. When I was little, my grandma said, ‘I am going to take her to dance class.’ And she did. Then I liked it, so I kept dancing. When I got older, I found this guy on YouTube. His name is Matt Steffanina. I love him. When I graduate, I’m going to fly to LA and take lessons from him. He is a major, big-time dancer. My favorite part about dancing is performing, because you just get to be like, ‘Hey, I’m the best thing ever. Look at me.’ The hardest part is practice, because it gets frustrating whenever you have to do it over and over again. Then you get it wrong, and have to do it over again. The beginning is really good, but the end is just hard. Practice, and if you don’t love it, it’s not for you.”
