Glen Schneider

“I was home schooled from the time when I was born until freshman year,” junior Glen Schneider said. “I decided to come to high school because I felt it would be better for my education and future. It was difficult because I didn’t know anybody, but eventually I met people, made friends and started making good grades. I feel like high school helped me become more of a person, because before, I didn’t know what my interests, talents and skills were. But the experiences I was able to have and the opportunities that were presented to me in classes like choir really helped me come out of my shell socially and otherwise. It was difficult at first, because I only knew very basic math. I didn’t know how to write an essay before in my life. But now, I’m making A’s in all of my classes and am enrolled in AP and Dual Credit. I’m very proud of myself.”
