“UNT is a great school, and I also got a scholarship to play softball there,” Callahan said. “The coaches are great. I’m so excited to get to play there, and I’m very blessed. I was a little scared going in wondering what my coaches were going to be like because I’ve always had the best coaches for softball. But I got to go there, and it was just amazing. UNT went the furthest they’ve ever gone in softball this year. They won conference and got their conference rings. I want to be a part of that next year and maybe even go farther. I want to win as many games as we can and maybe even make it to the World Series.”
