“I usually wear leggings and a jacket to keep me warm, so I can do things flexibly for practice,” freshman Olivia Skalsky said. “I love spins and jumps. You have a group, or you can do a solo and there’s music and you skate with it. It was difficult, but the more I did it, the easier it got. I just like having fun with it. I enjoy being able to I feel like I’m floating. If you think you’re gonna enjoy something, just do it so you can experience it and see if you like it or not, like with figure skating.”
