“Baseball has always been something I can go to,” junior Cash Hamby said. “It is a really big stress reliever for me. I can remember watching varsity baseball all throughout my younger years, and now, it’s like a dream come true for me. My dad used to roll me ground balls in the living room before I could walk, and ever since then, I’ve wanted to be the best I can be at the game. I wake up looking forward to going to the field each day to get better with my teammates. People see the final product on the field, but they don’t see the hours of hard work and the intense practices behind the scenes. I think it is something very unique about the game.”
