“Music has affected my life in so many aspects–a lot of healing and getting me through the hard times, and, also, exploring who I am as a person,” sophomore Lottie Urschel said. “In so many aspects, I’ve discovered who I am, what I believe in and what I like through music. Freshman year, I started out and was honestly scared if it was going to be hard. I wasn’t scared of pushing myself; it was just the challenge of learning the music and growing as a musician. Overall, from freshman year to now, I have grown leaps and bounds in my musical aspects as well as growing as a person and letting the music affect me in more than just one area of my life.”
