Kaden Ellison

Jaren Tankersley

“I love performing,” sophomore Kaden Ellison said. “Music lets me express myself where words can’t. I can make it my own and personalize it however I want. Since I am socially awkward, I often have trouble explaining how I feel, but music has always done that for me. I have performed in several popular bars and cafes including Golden Light, Moe Dogs and Smokey Joe’s. Every time I perform is special to me and I remember them all, but it is the journey leading up to them that morphs me into the person I am. When I first began performing, I was nervous and riddled with stage fright but throughout the years of forcing myself to do it again and again, I now get excited before every performance. The one thing that separates me from other musicians is rather than doing it for attention or to better myself, I play because I love it.”
